2025-2026 Buchser Middle School Music Program / Programa de Música de las Escuelas Secundarias del Buchser

Music Interest Form for 2025-2026 sixth graders

Dear 5th grade Parents/Families:

Santa Clara Unified School District continues to provide a vibrant music program at the middle and high school levels. Band and Orchestra are offered. In these classes, students are taught to use

  • their voice as an instrument or learn to play a band or string instrument

  • how to read music 

  • how to be an integral part of a full orchestra or band

This is to collect interest as the district survey closed on Feb. 7th.  Your student will be scheduled if space is available.  This form will close on May 30th. 

 Regular practice is an essential factor in learning to be a successful musician.

Estimados Padres/Familias de 5o Grado:

    El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Santa Clara sigue ofreciendo un programa de música dinámica en la secundaria y preparatoria. Ofrecemos Banda y Orquesta.

     En estas clases, a los estudiantes se les enseña a utilizar 

  • su voz como un instrumento o aprender a tocar un instrumento de banda

  • cómo leer música 

  • como ser una parte integral de una orquesta entera, banda o coro

Esto es para generar interés ya que la encuesta del distrito cerró el 7 de febrero.  Su estudiante será programado si hay espacio disponible. Este formulario se cerrará el 30 de mayo.

Please join us on January 30 to explore Buchser Middle School! Meet our dedicated 6th grade team of administrators, teachers, and school counselors and discover why Buchser is the right choice for your student!
This adult-only event will be held on Thursday, January 30 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room/cafeteria.
