Author Sites on the Web
Search for biographical information on your author. Interviews are also great ways to learn about your author.
Don't forget to go to GALE, our subscription database. This database will have:
- biographical information
- interviews in magazines and newspapers
- reviews and analysis on specific books
- images of the author.
Search for your author's Official Web Site. Try searching for your author by putting your author's name in quotations.
Go to the Santa Clara City Library.
- What do they have in their book and reference collection?
- What do they have in their subscription databases?
Do you know your author's publisher? If so, check the publisher's web site to see if they include information about your author.
